Tomorrow, March the 2nd, I am leaving to Australia to attend the first pro tournament of the 2010 season. Official website of the tournament can be found here.

For me it is going to be first time in Australia and first time skiing in a big pro tournament. (Past seasons I competed in Master Craft Pro Tournament held at Cory Pickos Ski school - 2008, and Master Craft Pro Tour stop held in Michigan - 2009)...

I have been skiing as much as I could, but this winter has been extremely unfavorable for practicing; however, I will be competing in all 3 events (4 if you count night jump)

Stay tunned as I will be updating new information and pictures from the tournament daily. You can also check the twitter tab for some more additional info from me and from other skiers.

Sitting at the Jackson airport waiting for first flight to Houston. Then LAX and then Melbourne. I will be in Melbourne at 10 a.m. on Thursday morning. Oh baby!

First day is done. Made the slalom semifinal with 3@38. Yarra river is pretty hard! I competed in night jump as well. Didn't advance into the final round after getting beat by Timmy Bradstreet and Matteo D'alberto. Check the results here and my picture gallery here. Tricks and regular jump tomorrow!

I'm going to sleep, big day tomorrow! Check back for more updates!

Day two is under way. This morning we had first round of tricks. Check the results here. Javi is leading with 10,040 points. I did my whole run, but it wasn't perfect, so I ended up with 7,700 points and 5th place in semifinals.

Men's jump and women's slalom semifinals later on today. Check the updated picture gallery here. I am of to the Yarra river again. Peace!
